Obituary: Lydia Olivia ‘Ollie’ Bauer

Lydia Olivia “Ollie” Bauer of Port Orchard died April 30 at Messenger House on Bainbridge Island.

Lydia was born Feb. 23, 1932, to George and Katherine Tabert in Kennewick. She married Kenneth Bauer on April 8, 1949.

Lydia was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and crafts. She is survived by her four daughters, Roni Myers of Port Orchard, Doni Ricciardi of Bremerton, Voni (Ron) Miller of Port Orchard, Doni Ricciardi of Bremerton and Connie Lewis of Kingman, Ariz.; a sister, Laura Ready of Tacoma, and numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m., May 16 at Port Orchard Church of Christ. Private burial will be at Fraola Cemetary in Olalla.  An online memorial and tribute wall can be accessed at www.rill.com.
