Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of a wreck that happened March 5 on State Route 16, east of the Burley-Olalla exit.

A female drive, age unknown, was extracted from the sedan by South Kitsap Fire and Rescue firefighters. The sedan left the roadway while traveling eastbound and hit several trees.

SKFR paramedics transported the woman to a nearby hospital.
