Top finishers in Jingle Bell 5K run

Jason Gordon and Amanda Rogers were the top male and female runners in the 2014 Jingle Bell 5K Run on Dec. 6 in downtown Port Orchard.

Gordon posted a time of 16 minutes, 28.7 seconds, while Rogers finished the 5-kilometer race at 19:54.6.

There were 101 timed-runners competing in the event.

Among the top five finishers for the men were Mason Villarma, second place, 17:05.0; Joe Feneke, third, 17:50.6; Joe Gates, fourth, 18:21.2 and David Nelson, 18:26.0.

In the women’s division, Eliza Villarma was second at 22:09.6; Kristina Ihlen, third, 22:09.8; Tiffany Fike, fourth, 22:55.0, and Ashley Sciocchetti, fifth, 23:37.1.
