Highway 305 traffic slowed by car crash

SUQUAMISH — Traffic slowed on Highway 305 near George Lane after a Ford Mustang rear-ended a pickup truck Jan. 22.

The collision occurred just before 3 p.m. Traffic in the northbound lane of the highway was being diverted through a residential road next to the crash. The northbound lane was completely blocked.

Residents of a nearby neighborhood reported hearing a short “screech” of tires before hearing the vehicles collide.

The front of the Mustang was totaled.

So far, no injuries have been reported.
