SUQUAMISH — Two 2013 events on the Suquamish reservation are included in a national publication’s year in review.

IndianCountryTodayMediaNetwork.com, owned by the Oneida Nation and based in New York City, publishes a daily online news site and a magazine-format e-newsletter.

In its 35-page retrospective on 2013, it spotlighted James Abler and Terry Johnson’s September marriage, the first same-sex marriage recognized by the Suquamish Tribe; and the Burke Museum’s return of 19 boxes of ancestral objects to the Suquamish Tribe in October.
