Track and Field: Vikes qualify for 18 events at State

TACOMA — The North Kitsap Vikings are guaranteed to compete in 18 events at the 2A State Championship Meet.
The Vikes have alternates in four events.
The athletes qualified for the state championships at the West Central District III meet May 18, where the North Kitsap girls team took first (88). The North Kitsap boys finished fourth (52).
Top male finishers included Taylor Stephens, finishing first in the High Jump.
Top female finishers included Reagan Colyer in the 100 Meter and 300 Meter Hurdles, and the 4×400 Relay team (Olivia Streun, Abigail Wright, Annika Lee Krol, and Colyer), which took first.
