Memorial Day ceremony is set May 27 in Manchester

MANCHESTER — A Memorial Day observance is at 3 p.m. Monday, May 27, at the Veterans’ Memorial, next to the Manchester Library.

The ceremony will be presented by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2669 of Port Orchard, in cooperation with the Port of Manchester, Friends of the Library and Combat Veterans International Chapter 5 of Kitsap Peninsula.

VFW Post 2669 will play taps and conduct the rifle salute.

The event is open to the public.
