Roberta and Robert Burback | Anniversaries

Roberta and Robert Burback of Poulsbo celebrated their 55th anniversary. They were married on May 19, 1956 in Reno, Nev. They have lived in Poulsbo for 30 years.
The Burbacks met when his Navy ship came into port on Bainbridge Island. They spent long nights together bowling, dancing and talking. Shortly after, they had a double-wedding in Reno with Robert’s sister Nina and her husband, Marv.
The secret to their happy marriage: patience, understanding and a sense of humor.
Robert, Roberta, Nina and Marv will have a joint celebration of their marriages.
