The death of a Poulsbo woman whose body was found in Discovery Bay has been ruled a suicide by Jefferson County officials.

Multiple acute drug intoxication was listed Monday as the official cause of death for 57-year-old Janeth Allen Walker, said Jefferson County Coroner Juelie Dalzell.

Walker’s body was recovered Oct. 19 after being found by a man walking his dog along shore. First responders located Walker’s car nearby, Kitsap County Sheriff’s Deputy Scott Wilson said at the time.

Walker had recently moved to Poulsbo from Pennsylvania to live with her twin sister and her sister’s husband. She had been missing for about a day before her body was found.
