Countywide MLK Day event slated

On Monday, Ebeneezer AME Church in Bremerton will sponsor the 15th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day event at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds Presidents Hall.

The event begins at 10 a.m. and this year’s theme is “Dreaming with the courage to act.”

Kitsap County Superior Court Judge Theodore Spearman will be the featured speaker and people are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to help resupply area food banks.
