WDWF hosts hearing for boat launch

OLYMPIA —­ ­The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) will host a public meeting on Dec. 13 to discuss the proposed design of the new boat launch at Point No Point. The community can discuss the design for the boat launch from 2-4 p.m. at the Greater Hansville Community Center, 6778 NE Buck Lake Road, which is located in Buck Lake Park on the northern end of the Kitsap Peninsula.

Construction on the launch should begin in 2011 or 2012, Kuykendall said.
