CRAFTS SCHOLARSHIP

The 2008 Kitsap Arts and Crafts scholarship forms are now available at the counselors offices at North Kitsap High School, Kingston High School, Spectrum Community School and West Sound Academy. All seniors pursuing the field of art in college are eligible. Scholarship application deadline is April 15. The Kitsap Arts & Crafts Group, now entering its 49th year, has given more than 195 scholarships since 1975. These scholarships are for $2,000 annually and are renewable for three years. Kitsap Bank is offering two scholarships to commemorate the bank’s 100th anniversary at Olympic College and the University of Washington School of Business.

UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON’S MICHAEL G. FOSTER SCHOOL OF BUSINESS:

To be considered for the scholarship, students must be from Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson, or Clallam Counties, or from the Gig Harbor area. WATER SAFETY

INSTRUCTORS CLASS

A Water Safety Instructors’ class will be held at the North Kitsap Community Pool in Poulsbo, beginning April 7 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:45 to 4:15 p.m. Cost is $175, and includes all textbooks. PORTABLE REALITY SHOW BRINGS FUNDRAISER TO POULSBO MIDDLE

The Portable Reality Show, a local improv comedy group, is volunteering a performance to raise funds for Poulsbo Middle School Music Boosters.

The Poulsbo Music Boosters support both band and choir students. The performance is at 7 p.m., April 11 in the North Kitsap Auditorium (next to PMS). Tickets are $10. All proceeds will benefit the Poulsbo Middle School Music Boosters. Tickets are available at the main office of Poulsbo Middle School.
