Village Greens Golf Course grand opening set for July 4

Cake cutting is at 11 a.m. and there will be free food from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Village Greens Golf Course is once again open for business and is throwing a party to celebrate.

On Thursday, July 4, Village Greens is having its official grand (re)opening.

Special events will be going on all day. Prizes will be given away for such as acheivements as being the closest to the pin on the par three holes and having the low nine and 18-hole score in various age groups.

Cake cutting will take place at 11 a.m. and there will be free hot dogs and burgers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Golfers and non-golfers alike are welcome to drop by, grab a bite to eat and celebrate the beginning of a new era of golf at Village Greens.
