POULSBO — North Kitsap heads into Homecoming Week bolstered by a 27-10 victory over Sequim.

The Vikings overpowered the Wolves at Sequim on Sept. 25 to improve to 1-0 conference, 2-2 overall. Next, the Vikings host North Mason (1-1, 1-3) at 7 p.m. Oct. 2.

Kingston travels to Bremerton; both teams are 1-1, 1-3.

The Vikings stepped onto the field in Sequim 0-0, 1-2, with two consecutive losses to Evergreen League teams that went to state in 2014. It was clear from the first quarter, however, that the Vikings had found their groove, with quarterback Chris Andrews and Sean Crowell, Zack Clark, and Cole Rabedeaux firing up the offense. Rabedeaux scored three TDs.
