POULSBO — The North Kitsap Vikings outscored their North end rivals during the conference-opener Dec. 12. The Vikings won 97-66 at home.

North Kitsap junior Cole Rabedeaux scored 31 during the game.

Senior Calvin Dennis scored 18 and had 10 defensive rebounds and 6 offensive rebounds.

The Vikings scored 52 points in the first half. The Bucs came up with 30.

The Bucs kept better pace with the Vikings in the second half, scoring 36. The Vikings scored 45.

The Vikings join the Olympic Trojans (1-0, 4-2) and Sequim Wolves (1-0, 4-1) in conference wins.

Bremerton (0-1, 1-4) and Port Angeles (0-1, 1-1) lost their first conference games.

The Vikings travel to Olympic High School to face the Trojans Dec. 17. They host the North Mason Bulldogs Dec. 19.

The Bucs host the Wolves Dec. 17. They travel to Bremerton to face the Knights Dec. 19.
