North Kitsap edges Sequim
The North Kitsap High boys soccer team edged out Sequim High Tuesday, 2-1. Sequim scored first, in the fifth minute, on a corner kick. North equalized in the 73rd minute on a direct kick by Marco Lopez. North Kitsap sophomore Garrett Wilder scored the winning goal in the third minute of overtime on a pass from senior midfielder Spencer Black.
The Vikings play their next game at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at Kingston High School. Both Kingston and North are off to a 7-0 start. Kingston plays at 7:30 p.m. today at Olympic High School.
BASEBALL
Kingston tops Klahowya
The Kingston High baseball team beat Klahowya in five innings Tuesday by a score of 12-1. Matt Ramstead recorded the win for the Buccaneers. Klahowya scored first, in the first inning, but the Eagles were unable to earn another run in the game. The Bucs scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to end the game early. Kingston catcher Curtis Wildung put the cap on the win with a three-run double. He and first baseman Danny Orr each had five RBI.
Kingston will host Sequim High at 4 p.m. today.

North Kitsap defeats Sequim, 4-3
The North Kitsap High School girls tennis team defeated Sequim High School Tuesday, 4-3.
Singles: Kyla Hall (SQ) def. Stephanie Bird (NK) 6-1, 6-0. Serena Okamoto (SQ) def. Ashton Asquith (NK) 6-2, 6-4. Maegam McClanahan (NK) def. (SQ #3) 6-3, 6-4.
