Kingston Buccaneers keep Olympic to one touchdown.

NORTH KITSAP — The North Kitsap Vikings football team brought home its first win of the season Friday night after defeating North Mason 45-0.

The away game ended with 17 first downs by the Vikings and a possession time of 26:39. North Mason made six first downs with total possession of 21:21. North Mason had a total of eight fumbles, four which were turnovers. North Kitsap ended with a total of 365 yards to North Mason’s 114.

This was the team’s first Olympic League game. The Vikings are now 1-0 in League and 1-2 overall.

The Kingston Buccaneers, meanwhile, held Olympic High School to a single touchdown during a home game Friday.

The Bucs had a total of 377 yards on the night, with quarterback Sam Byers leading the team with four touchdowns.

The Bucs are now 1-0 in the Olympic League and 2-1 overall.
