The Olympic High School (OHS) Baseball Booster Club is sponsoring the sixth annual Baseball Skills Clinic April 1.

Presented by OHS baseball coach Nate Andrews, the clinic is open to children in kindergarten through eighth grade and is at the Kitsap Fairgrounds Baseball complex.

The session for grades K-4 is from 8:30 a.m. to noon and the session for grades 4-8 is from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The first 50 registration forms per session receive priority. Walk-ups may be available if the sessions are not full.

Baseball skills to be covered include injury prevention, throwing, catching, sliding, base-running, bunting, hitting and fielding.

Registration is $40 and includes a T-shirt. It is recommended all participants prepare and dress with rain in mind. The OHS gymnasium will be used if the field is unplayable.
