Youth flag football

The November Classic Youth (E String) Flag Football Tournament begins at 10 a.m. Nov. 21 at Carpenter Field in Bremerton.

Warren Avenue, North Perry, East Bremerton, Tracyton and other teams are set to compete. The tournament is being hosted by Warren Avenue Pee Wees.

All flag football teams that participated this season in Pee Wees are encouraged to attend.

A ‘Knight Out’

The Bremerton Student & Alumni Association is hosting a “Knight Out” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at Noah’s Ark Restaurant in Bremerton, 1516 Sixth St. It is a fund-raising event with proceeds going to Bremerton Pee Wee basketball, Mountain Middle School basketball, Bremerton High School basketball and BSAA select basketball for the upcoming 2009-10 season. Families are encouraged to attend.

ISPN Sports

For the first time ever, Kevin Mac of ISPN Sports will provide a live broadcast of each 2009 Kitsap Peninsula’s Pee Wee football championships. The broadcast begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow, with Mac broadcasting D-string through A-string games.

ISPN Sports also will air the weekly ISPN Sports Show at 8 a.m. tomorrow. The featured guest is Olympic College men’s basketball coach Billy Landram. Learn more at www.ispnsports.com.

Army-Navy rugby game

The eighth annual Army-Navy rugby game is Nov. 21 and Kitsap will play host. The Kitsap Rugby Football Union is actively seeking military players (Navy, Marine or Coast Guard — active duty or reservist) who would like to be on the Navy team for this event. KRFU is developing a Navy team specifically for this event and practices from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the upper softball fields on Naval Base Kitsap.
