NK Pool offers Polar Bear Swim Camp

The North Kitsap Community Pool will hold a Polar Bear Swim Camp from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 18 and 19 for kids ages 5-11.

The camp includes swim lessons, supervised free time in the pool, crafts, snacks, games, movies and more. Cost is $30 for a half day or $50 for a full day. Call (360) 598-1070 for more information.

NK girls host ‘Support the Pink’ night

The North Kitsap High School girls basketball team will host a “Support the Pink” breast cancer awareness night at its Jan. 29 game against Port Townsend High. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to wear pink and purchase pink products. Money raised will go to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Cancer Fund and the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
