Also, La Deaux brothers earn recognition at Minot State University

Isaiah Davis, a 2011 South graduate, was selected to the All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference first-team at defensive back for a third consecutive season at Central Washington University.

Davis, who led the GNAC in interceptions in 2013, tied Kevin Haynes for the conference lead this season with five picks.

La Deaux brothers  earn honors

A pair of South Kitsap graduates were among seven Minot State University players named to the All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division football team.

Aaron La Deaux, a 2012 South graduate, was selected as a first-team punter/kicker. He led the NSIC North with an average of 37.6 yards per punt.

Leon La Deaux, a 2010 South graduate, was a second-team selection at wide receiver. He paced the Beavers with 48 catches for 715 yards and scored three touchdowns. La Deaux also was MSU’s primary kickoff returner and averaged 117.1 all-purpose yards per game.
