Girls’ basketball camps coming to Kingston
On June 22-25, Kingston High School will host two basketball camps for girls ages 12 and up. The first camp will focus on shooting and take place from 9-11 a.m. The second is a fundamental camp, from 1-4 p.m. Cost is $50 for each camp. Registrations can be found at the Sport Haus in Poulsbo, the City of Poulsbo Parks and Recreation office on Front Street, or by emailing Gail Wicklein at sequimlavender@earthlink.net.
NK Pee Wees taking football registrations
The North Kitsap Pee Wees are accepting registrations for the 2009 football and cheerleading squads, with teams in Poulsbo and Kingston. Open registration will take place at Kingston Middle School June 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program is open to kids ages 5 to 14 (as of July 31, 2009). Cost is $110 for football players aged 7-14 and $60 for all cheerleaders and flag football players (ages 5-6). Registration forms are available at www.nkpeewees.org.
Kingston hosting volleyball camps
The Kingston High School volleyball program will hold two volleyball camps this summer. A camp for girls entering grades four through eight will take place July 21 and 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The second camp, for girls entering high school grades will take place July 23 and 24 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Both camps are at the KHS gym and cost $60.
