Hoop it up this summer

The North Kitsap Booster Club presents its 2009 boys and girls summer basketball camps for players in grades 6-12. There are four different camp options: Fun-damental Camp – June 29-July 1, from noon to 2 p.m.; Sharp Shooter Camp – July 13-15, from noon to 2 p.m.; Mental Toughness Camp – July 27-29, from 4-6 p.m.; Ball Handling Camp – August 3-5 from noon to 2 p.m.

Registration forms can be downloaded from the North Kitsap High School boys basketball Web page, and will also be available for pick-up at the North Kitsap High School main office through Friday and at the Sport Haus in Poulsbo throughout the summer. Please mark which camps the student is interested in and mail the registration form to coach Tony Chisholm at 7318 McCormick Woods Dr. SW, Port Orchard, WA 98367.

Cost is $75 per camper, and checks should be made payable to the North Kitsap Booster Club. Please bring payment to camp along with a bottle of water and your own ball. For more information, contact Tony Chisholm at tchisholm@nkschools.org or (360) 509-5094.
