Jacobs helps SK improve to 6-2 in Narrows League
Sam Jacobs limited Foss to three hits, while first baseman Alexis O’Dell went 2 for 4 with a couple of RBI to help the Wolves to a 10-0, five-inning win Monday in Tacoma.
Ally Johnson, who signed with the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, also went 2 for 3 for South Kitsap (7-2 overall, 6-2 league).
The win kept the Wolves in second place in the Bridge Division after suffering a 5-4 setback April 16 against Bay Division-leader Stadium.
The Tigers scored two runs in the sixth inning to take the lead for good in that game. South sophomore Emily Cunningham went 2 for 3 with a pair of doubles and two RBI in that game.
The Wolves’ only losses have come against division leaders Stadium and Wilson.
