On Friday the Bucs traveled to North Mason and returned home with the win, 4-3.
No. 1 singles: Kingston’s Jerol Bird defeated Conor Daley, 6-0, 6-0; No. 2 singles: Kingston’s Nick Anderson defeated Alex Graeber, 6-0, 6-0; No. 3 singles: Kingston’s Sam Shoemaker defeated Ryan Murphy, 6-0, 6-6, 7-5 (tie breaker); No. 1 doubles: NM’s Cory Barker, AJ Barker defeated Loren Klemesrud, Cody Combs, 6-2, 6-0; No. 2 doubles: NM’s Andy Bartell, Zack Kissler defeated Cameron Groh, Nathan Hirsch, 6-2, 6-2; No. 3 doubles: NM’s Nate Merrill, Robert Marotti defeated Chris Blesie, Morgan McCalister, 6-2, 6-4; and No. 4 doubles: Kingston’s Brady Sundquist, Erik Reichert defeated Ryan Jones, Shane Mavotti, 7-5, 6-2.
On Monday the Bucs traveled to Sequim and had a bit of a rough day, losing 7-0.

Today the Bucs play Klahowya at the North Kitsap High courts, matches start at 4 p.m.
Bucs run away with impressive times
On Saturday the Bucs traveled to the Capital Invite in Olympia, and ran away with a few impressive finishes.
Course Distance: two miles.
Freshman girls: Marina Roberts, first place out of 66 runners, 11 minutes, 52 seconds. Sophomore girls: Rose Bishop, fourth place out of 95 runners, 12:10. Junior girls: Ruby Roberts, first place out of 107, 11:18. Senior girls: Chloe Stamper, 36th out of 85, 13:39.
Freshman boys: 142 runners, Nick Stevens, 118th, 14:04; Lucas Mays, 129th, 14:45; and Jack Murdock, 139th, 16:11. Sophomore boys: 146 runners, Austin Cherry, 14th, 10:52; Nick Schippers, 50th, 11:41; Zak Gormanson, 76th, 12:19; Nick Gasser, 86th, 12:30; and Zane Ravenholt, 103rd, 13:03. Viking volleyball drops match to CK
On Thursday the Vikings hosted Central Kitsap and lost in three close sets, 25-21, 25-21, 25-21.
Stats: Sarah Baugh, five kills and 12 assists; Taylor Ottomano, eight kills; Toria Messinger, four kills; Erika Bratlien, four kills; Jordan Denning, nine assists; and Bryana Bohl, nine digs.
“This was a hard fought match, we served better than we have so far this season and we really battled in each game,” wrote head coach Tim French in an e-mail. “Central made fewer unforced errors and that was the difference.”
Tomorrow the Vikings host Olympic, game starts at 6:15 p.m.
Viking girls soccer beats CK
On Saturday the Vikes (1-0-1) played a home game against Central Kitsap (2-1) and pulled out a narrow, 2-1 victory.
Delanee Niles scored the Vikings’ first goal at minute 17. At minute 63 Siara Byers scored the Vikes’ second goal off an assist by Niles. Both teams had 12 shots on goal.
Yesterday the Vikings hosted Stadium. Results of the game were not available at presstime. On Thursday the Vikings travel to Olympic.
