The Bainbridge boys swim team hosted its first swim meet of the season against Bremerton Jan. 18, winning every event in a 130-31 victory.
In the 200-yard medley relay, Spartans’ Mathias Bang-Knudsen, Eddie Nakhuda, Ian Letson and Liam O’Brien won with a time of 1 minute, 48.19 seconds. Teammates Anderson Majors, Michael Bannister, Beckett Lipton and Micah Webber finished second in 2:00.35, while Bremerton’s Jaxon Anderson, Ibai Robinson, Reece Patti and Alex Rempfer finished third in 2:14.55.
Spartan Robbie Nakhuda won the 200 free in 1:56.67, with teammates RJ Rossart finishing second in 2:04.48 and Hayden Ludwig third in 2:14.47.
Bainbridge also swept the 200 individual medley. Sota Inoue won in 2:03.86, Eddie Nakhuda was second in 2:11.74 and Bradley Roloff third in 2:29.97.
In the 50 free, also swept by the home team, Rylan Hopp won in 24.04 seconds, O’Brien was second in 24.07 and Ryan Rich third in 25.04.
Robbie Nakhuda won the butterfly in 56.86, and Rossart finished second in 1:01.35.
In the 100 free, Ludwig won in 56.36 seconds with Bannister second in 56.68 and Zachary Shields third in 59.56. Bremerton’s Alex Rempfer finished fourth in 1:07.70.
Anderson won the 500 free in 5:57.51. Patti had Bremerton’s best finish of the day, finishing second in 6:17.80. O’Brien finished third in 6:39.04.
Robbie Nakhuda, Letson, Ludwig and Hopp won the 200 free relay in 1:37.67. Milo Merritt, Roloff, Jason Geddes and Rossart finished second in 1:44.52 and Max Hay, Lipton, Bannister and Webber were third in 1:53.73.
In the backstroke, Rich won with a time of 1:04.10, Shields was second in 1:08.61 and Anderson third in 1:24.03.
Letson won the breaststroke in 1:11.27, Geddes finished second in 1:15 and Jack Rogowski third in 1:17.21.
Bang-Knudsen, Inoue, Robbie Nakhuda and Elias Dean ended the meet by winning the 400 free relay in 3:37.88. Eddie Nakhuda, Ludwig, Rich and O’Brien finished second in 3:53.58. Bremerton’s Robinson, Luke Godbolt, Danny Butler and Taylor Meszler finished third in 5:39.47.
