Head coach: Mike Allen

Returning players: Hailey Standridge, guard, senior; Kaylee McEdward, forward, senior; Amani Johnson, forward, senior; Emma Erickson, junior, forward.

Key newcomers: Halie Rodriguez, point guard, junior.

Outlook: The team has lost a few players that have moved out of the district, so they are reloading with several junior varsity players from last year.

Among those is Rodriguez, who will play point guard for the Wolves and is expected to make an impact.

The team should be able to score with its stable of weapons and has resolved to play relentless defense.

Head coach: Nicole Miller

2016-2017 record: 3-6

Top returning swimmers: Troy Conrad, senior; Andrei Obnial, senior; Andrew Johnson, senior; Garrett Coffin, junior; Michael Freimann, junior; Joseph Obnial, junior.

Key newcomers: Lorenzo Cogoni (Italian exchange student); Connor Twiss, sophomore.

Outlook: With a roster boasting 50 swimmers/divers, South Kitsap should have no trouble filling out their events to grab as many points as possible.

The goal is for each athlete to perform better than they did at the previous meet to help the team acheive success. The Wolves should swim well in both the individual and team events, and are hoping to make a run at qualifying for the state relays this year.
