Olympic girls soccer | Fall Sports Preview

Head coach: Steve Haggerty

2017 record: 14-4-1 (10-2)

Key players: Hannah Troy, sr., F; Sydney Troy, sr., DEF; Karli Taylor, sr., GK; Saoirse Brown, sr., MID; Kiarra Richards, jr., MID/F; Jayda Day, sr., MID.

Outlook: The Trojans played just about the whole season without top scorer Hanna Troy, and that was reflected in their style of play. They leaned heavily on their back four of Brooklyn Haro, Sydney Zeitler, Tishara Day and Sydney Troy. Only Troy, the league MVP, remains, but with her twin sister back in the fold, Olympic should be more balanced and have no trouble scoring with a talented group of offensive players. They will be in the mix for a league title.
