NK’s Fohn on his way to claiming district title | Boys tennis

Zach Fohn is two games from claiming a district title.

TACOMA — Zach Fohn, the only singles player from the North Kitsap School District in the boys singles tennis tournament, is two games from claiming a district title.

Fohn defeated Franklin Pierce’s Drew Dawson 6-3, 6-1 on May 12 to make it to the semifinals.

Fohn plays Interlake’s Luat Le Saturday. Le defeated Lindbergh’s Joe Kwiatkowski 6-1, 6-3 for a spot in the semifinals.

The winner of the singles match will play either Alan Kwiatkowski from Lindbergh or Connor Garnett from Interlake for the West Central District III title.
