Kingston volleyball | Fall Sports Preview

Head coach: Ed Call

2017 record: 11-11 (7-5)

Key players: Ava McCabe, sr., outside hitter; Melanie Borson, sr., setter/middle/right side; Sam Young, sr., outside/right side hitter; Naya Patterson, sr., middle/right side.

Outlook: The Bucs are hoping to follow up their first-ever trip to the state tournament with another strong season. Kingston had the third best Olympic League regular season record but took second in the league tournament and then finished fourth at districts. McCabe is one of the Olympic League’s top hitters, and the team has some good size and athleticism. Another postseason run is almost certainly in the works.
