Kingston Volleyball

Head coach: Ed Call

2018 record: 13-9 (10-4 Olympic)

Key players: Morgan Halady, jr., M/RS; Grayce Hentzel, sr., S/RS/M; Olivia Call, jr., L/OH/DEF;

Outlook: The Bucs lost three strong seniors in Ava McCabe, Melanie Borson and Sam Young, all of whom were instrumental in transforming the program into one of the area’s best. The next generation takes over led by Halady, a first-team all-league player who finished with 265 kills and 60 blocks. Hentzel was a second-team all-league setter with 601 assists — she also had 156 digs and 30 blocks. A great rivalry has blossomed with inter-district foe North Kitsap and it won’t be surprising to see the two schools battle it out again for league supremacy.
