Kingston tightens its hold on league soccer title

Kingston dominated Olympic 7-0 to improve to 8-1-0, 11-1-0. The Buccaneers followed up with a win over Port Angeles on April 30, and then shut out North Mason 7-0 on May 3.

SEQUIM — Sequim defeated North Kitsap 1-0 on April 28, helping tighten Kingston’s grip on the top of the Olympic League boys soccer standings.

Two days earlier, Kingston dominated Olympic 7-0 to improve to 8-1-0, 11-1-0. The Buccaneers followed up with a win over Port Angeles on April 30, and then shut out North Mason 7-0 on May 3.

Kingston (10-1-0, 13-1-1) and North Kitsap (8-3-0, 8-3-2) were scheduled to meet at 6:45 p.m. May 5 in Kingston. See NorthKitsapHerald.com for coverage.

The 2016 West Central/SeaKing 2A Boys District Soccer Tournament is scheduled May 10-14.
