Four players scored in double figures as the Central Kitsap girls got a thrilling 57-54 win at home over Kelso in the Class 3A West Central District/Southwest bi-district playoff game on Feb. 11.

The win advanced the Cougars to a winner-to-regional game against the Sumner Spartans on Feb. 13, at Clover Park High School. Game time is 7:45 p.m.

Starr Rodenhurst hit a 3-pointer and added two free throws in the final 44 seconds to help the Cougars seal the win. Rodenhurst finished the game with 12 markers.

Maddie White was CK’s high scorer with 15, while Katie Thorsen hit 13 and Taylor Krouse added 11.
