Central Kitsap volleyball | Fall Sports Preview

Head coach: Rebecca Arthur

2017 record: 5-11 (5-9)

Key players: Gabby Everman, sr., setter; Natalie Cole, jr., middle hitter; Bella Capuano, sr., libero; Maddie Morey, sr., middle blocker/right side; Kaija Corry, sr., outside hitter; Allie Baldrige, so., outside hitter; Baylee Anderson, so. outside hitter; Riley Knapp, jr., middle blocker; Keahi-Rose Sarano, so., setter/right side.

Outlook: Only two seniors graduated from last year’s team, which went through a bit of a rebuilding phase. Arthur takes the reins of the program for the first time, providing a link to the program’s past success under longtime coach Gordy Bushaw. Arthur spent 15 years as his assistant coach. Arthur said the team has shown amazing court chemistry at times so far this fall, which could be a good indicator of greater success this season in the South Sound Conference.
