Central Kitsap Girls Golf | Spring Sports Preview

HEAD COACH: Tyler Hunt

2016-17 RECORD: 7-2

TOP RETURNING PLAYERS: Brittany Kwon, junior; Aryana Bhanji, junior.

OUTLOOK: Hopes are high for the Central Kitsap girls golf team, which not only won the league title last year but also finished in fourth place at the state tournament. The Cougars went undefeated in conference play by barely edging out Peninsula. And they’ve got a couple state athletes coming back. Kwon is a two-time defending state 3A champion, and she’s only a junior. Bhanji, also a junior, finished 36th in the state tournament her freshman year and 25th last year. “These two will anchor our team this year,” Hunt said.
