Bremerton Girls Soccer | Fall Sports Preview

A strong freshman class should help the team be competitive in the Olympic League.

2016 record: 0-15-1

Head coach: Lance McCoy

Returning players: GK Alyssia Hansel, sophomore; F/MF Abigail Dubeau, senior; MF Lucy Holloway, junior; MF Lissa Joiner, sophomore; D Angelina Wojciechowski, senior; D Sophia Capdepon, junior; D Jaiden Ellermeier, junior; D Justean Lafferty, junior; D Aubrieanna Mahon, senior.

Key newcomers: F/MF Akilah Austin, freshman; F Shelby Cassel, freshman; MF Reese Flanagan, freshman; D Sydney Lane, freshman; F Karli Uhrich, freshman.

Outlook: A strong freshman class should help smooth the transition from graduating six seniors last year. With just two seniors on the team, McCoy expects the youngsters to jell quickly and be competitive in the 2A Olympic League and greatly improve upon last year’s winless season.
