Bremerton Girls Bowling | Winter Sports Preview

Head coach: Dean Wagner

2018-2019 record: 3-9 (3-9 OLY)

Key bowlers: Meghan Malone, sr.; Shen Stewart, sr.; Violet Booth; Kailin Boyd.

Outlook: Wagner returns after a year away from coaching due to having hip replacement suirgery. He will welcome plenty of new bowlers to the program after losing quite a few to graduation. Malone and Stewart both qualified for the 2A state tournament as individuals last year and should get back there again; the duo will also serve as leaders for the younger bowlers in the program.

Schedule: Dec. 5, 2:45 p.m., Olympic | Dec. 12, 2:45 p.m. at North Mason | Dec. 17, 2:45 p.m., North Mason | Jan. 7, 2:45 p.m. at Sequim | Jan. 14, 2:45 p.m., Klahowya | Jan. 23, noon, Olympic League Bowling Championships at All Star Lanes.
