Arnold’s

The support

is appreciated

On July 27th, a devastating fire nearly destroyed Arnold’s Home Furnishings. A family owned company since 1951, Arnold’s has been an important part of the community for 58 years. Customers can be assured the store will be rebuilt and offer the same quality product and service expected and deserved. In the meantime, Arnold’s is back in business at a temporary location: 1305 Marine Drive, one block north of the store. Offices are in place and a showroom and warehouse will open in the next week. The phone number remains the same: (360) 377-5582, fax: (360) 373-9219, Web site: www.arnoldshomefurnishings.com or e-mail us: arnolds1@qwestoffice.net.

We thank the community for their outpouring of support during this difficult time and look forward to seeing our valued customers.

Health care reform

Controlled by a

dictatorial hierarchy

Holy cow! As of today, if you disagree with the Obama administration and send an e-mail to a friend explaining your disdain of the proposed intrusive government health care, the White House wants your name and IP address which is obviously meant to intimidate a person’s freedom of speech.

The administration declares town hall meetings as being taken over by the extremists and the Astroturf crowd?

Hey, it’s a town meeting and if there is so much support for the new government-controlled health care, where are the supporters?

This entire administration has grown into a dictatorial hierarchy which cannot stand any type of dissent or criticism. Think about it! Turn in citizens to the White House for expressing their concern or having opposite opinions on the administration’s legislation? Town meetings are being called mob rule and those speaking, considered too well dressed to be just concerned voters.

Throw in Obama’s desire to have a volunteer civilian force at his beck and call, which reeks of Germany’s 1930 brown shirts.

American federal power was born noble and limited by a Bill of Rights instituted to protect its citizenry.

Folks must pay attention to what is going on with this devious administration before it is too late.
