SKSD’s chief

over-reaching

Wayne Senter, chief of South Kitsap Fire and Rescue, need not ask for more money at this difficult economic time.

He needs to merely ask for an extension of the present levy to maintain his present crew.

If the levy measure fails, it is because he has asked for an increase in revenue rather than just the needed extension.

If he really wants this measure to pass he needs to revise the request to only include the extension.

The increase may only be for a very small amount, but the request for the increase is, in itself, enough to make the levy passage difficult.
