Wilma Elizabeth (Williams) Wierman died Oct. 8, 2007, at Martha and Mary Nursing Home in Poulsbo. She was 91.

She was born in Cresco, Iowa on Sept. 28, 1916, the fourth of five children to Fred and Mabel Mitchell. She graduated from Cresco High School in 1934 and married Edward H. Williams in 1935.

Mrs. Wierman raised four children, Mary, Roger, Richard and Shirley, excelling as a homemaker. In 1976, she married John Wierman, they enjoyed 22 years of fishing and traveling in their motor home. She loved little children and especially enjoyed times with her family which includes 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In later years, Mrs. Wierman was known for the love and cookies she dispensed, whether among her friends at Silverdale United Methodist Church or the Silverdale Mall Walkers, her special blend of thoughtfulness and cookies blessed many.

A celebration of life will be at the Silverdale United Methodist Church at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Lewis Funeral Chapel. An online memorial can be viewed at www.lewischapel.com.
