William H. Burns, 84

William Harry Burns died Jan. 17, 2006 in Poulsbo. He was 84.

Burns was born to Lester and Thelma Burns in Pomeroy on April 6, 1922.

He married Mary Jane Stephenson on Aug. 3, 1942 in Lewiston, Idaho.

Burns graduated from Clarkston High School in 1940.

He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Burns of Union; sons Robert William (Suzi) Burns of Port Ludlow, and John Stephen (Kristi) Burns of Spokane; daughters Patricia Jean Burns of Florida, and Nancy Jane (Matt) Marshall of Florida; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Alderbrook Golf and Yacht Club in Union.
