William “Bill” Snoey III, 53

William “Bill” Snoey III of Poulsbo died Dec. 26, 2006. He was 53.

Snoey was born in Seattle April 9, 1953 to William Snoey II and Willa Lou (Peltier) Snoey. His father was transferred to Bangor Naval Depot as a sheet metal worker during the summer of 1965 and the family moved to Poulsbo.

He graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1971.

He married Kristie “Dawn” Simms of Poulsbo in August of 1975 at Christ Memorial Church.

Snoey followed his father into the sheet metal trade and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 99.

He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and motocross racing.

He is survived by his former wife Kristi “Dawn” (Simms) Sabado of Poulsbo; son William “Stephen” Snoey IV; sister Diane (Snoey) Hagar of Bremerton and numerous friends.

Services for both William and Laura Snoey (who died Dec. 30, 2006) will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 5 at Christ Memorial Church in Poulsbo.
