William A. Moore, 82

William Allan Moore died Aug. 5, 2006. He was 82.

Moore was born in Seattle on July 5, 1924.

He married Marjorie Claire Hasselberg on Nov. 23, 1946.

Moore graduated from West Seattle High School.

He served in the 2nd Marine Division for three years during World War II, driving landing crafts in four major battles located in the South Pacific.

He enjoyed spending time with family, watching Jeopardy, the Seattle Mariners and working in his garden. He was active in Rotary clubs for 35 years.

Moore is survived by his son Bill (Terri Catania) Moore; daughter Karla (Ted) Therriault; sister Betty Pierce of Beaverton, Ore.; and four grandchildren.

Moore was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie.
