Timothy Wright Sr.

Timothy David Wright Sr., 46, lost his battle with cancer and died on Aug. 12 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. Wright was born on May 11, 1962, in Seattle to Margaret E. Phillips and Melvin David Wright. He grew up in Edmonds. In the mid 70s Wright moved to Kingston and lived with his family in Jefferson Beach.

Wright met his future wife in Kingston and married Kathleen Kelly on April 28, 1991, in Montesano Washington.

He was very proud to be a union carpenter foreman and a member of the Carpenters & Builders Union NO. 1597 out of Bremerton. He built new and remodeled commercial and residential buildings throughout western Washington.

Wright loved camping in the Olympic Mountains with his family and friends, golfing, barbecues on weekends and watching the Mariners and Seahawks.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; son, Timothy Wright Jr.; daughters, Tasha Fox and Canon Henness; granddaughter, Dawna Burdick; and in-laws, Donald and Julie Kelly; brothers: Norman, Byrun, Michael and Grant; sisters: Karen, Sharon, Cheri, Tracy and Linda; and many nieces and newphews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 22 at Stone Chapel on Foss Road in Poulsbo.
