Thelma Marie Finseth, 85

Lifelong North End resident Thelma Marie Finseth died July 21, 2006 in Poulsbo. She was 85.

Finseth was born to Arthur and Hilda (Thompson) Carlson on March 2, 1921.

She married Henry Finseth in 1939 in Silverdale.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, making people laugh and working in her garden.

Finseth is survived by sons Dennis of Ann Arbor, Mich. and Dale Finseth of Gardiner, Maine; daughter Doreen (Pedro) Valverde of Poulsbo; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Finseth was preceded in death by her brothers Alfred and Glen, sister Dorothy and her husband Henry.

A private burial is pending.

The family invites those who knew Finseth to visit her garden, to take a slip from a plant or two and add to their own favorite greenery.
