Stan Oswald

Nevada resident Stan Oswald died Aug. 1. He was 59.

He was born to Charles and Elnora Oswald in Albany, N.Y., on Jan. 30, 1950.

Oswald worked for many years in Alaska as a supervisor for Alaska Road Builders. While he enjoyed cooking and smoking his famous Habenaro Mango ribs for family and friends, he was also an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed model airplanes and off-road vehicles. He loved to travel to Utah and Hawaii.

Stan is survived by sisters Nancy (Terry) Ressler of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Mary Lou Moran of Reno, Nev. He was proceeded in death by his brother, Stuart Charles Oswald. He has numerous nieces and nephews and loving friends.

His final resting place will be Kona, Hawaii.
