Robert W. Cashman, 58

Kingston resident Robert William Cashman died Nov. 20, 2005 in Seattle. He was 58.

He was born to Marjory and George Cashman in Tacoma on Aug. 24, 1947.

Cashman married Darlyne White on July 3, 1968 in Sumner.

Cashman graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in Tacoma in 1965.

He was a heat treat supervisor at The Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Keyport for 25 years before retiring in 1997.

Cashman enjoyed Oktoberfest, developing new gardens with his wife, building new things and hiking in the mountains and by the water. He loved steam trains, race cars and his family.

Cashman is survived by his wife Darlyne Cashman of Kingston; sons Steven (Jami) Cashman of Kapowsin; daughter Michelle (Chris) Belinski of Queen Creek, Ariz.; brother Ken (Clare) Cashman of California; mother Marjory Cashman of Tacoma; and five grandchildren.

A celebration of life gathering will take place at 2 p.m. Dec. 3 at 33740 Hood Canal Drive in Kingston.
