Robert A. Morse, 90

Hansville resident Robert A. Morse died Aug. 7, 2006 in Bremerton. He was 90.

Morse was born to Hugh C. and Marjorie (Griffith) Morse in Mora on April 5, 1916.

He married Muriel Coyne on June 15, 1940 in Bremerton.

Morse graduated from Bremerton High School.

He worked as a water superintendent for King County Water District No. 42 before his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing and gardening and was a member of the Mason’s in Seattle.

He is survived by sons Bill (Violet) Morse of Beijing, China and Terry (Diane) Morse of Lynnwood; daughter Roberta Overstreet of Shoreline; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Morse was preceded in death by his wife Muriel Morse and brothers Jack, Pat and Dan Morse.

A memorial service will be held at his home in Hansville from 2-4 p.m. Aug. 12, 2006.
