Richard “Dick” V. Hansen of Poulsbo, died Dec. 31 at his home in Poulsbo. He was 82.

He was born Dec. 8, 1927, in Bremerton to Ruth and Charles Hansen.

Hansen was a longtime Poulsbo resident, attending grade school out on Clear Creek Road. He enjoyed a lifelong hobby of fishing. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith. Hansen is survived by his children, Vernon and Deanna.

A memorial service for Hansen was held Jan. 27 at Breidablik Baptist Church.
