Dick will be remembered for his service to his country and his strong work ethic. He loved and took great pride in his family. He was a fisherman at heart with his storytelling. Dick is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Aaland, children Kirstin Toynbee (Andrew), Chehalis, WA; Karren Rasmussen (Kirk), Kodiak, AK; Robert Aaland (Heather), Missoula, MT; and Michael Aaland (Andrea Savage), Seattle, WA.
